Nestled in the northern confines of Mahé lies the quaint Carana Beach, a bay cradled amidst lush greenery, crystalline waters, and impeccable white sands. Despite not being the foremost choice for swimmers, the tranquillity it offers is unparalleled. Accessibility to Carana Beach remains straightforward, thanks to neighboring parking facilities and a conveniently located bus stop. Yet, the bay wears an air of seclusion, untouched by the frequent Seychelles visitors or even the locals. The shallow shores at Carana are inviting for those looking for a serene dip. However, a word to the wise: the deeper you venture, the mightier the sea gets. It's bereft of coral reefs, occasionally treating surfers to high waves, especially between October and May, when the sea showcases a gentler temperament. Carana Beach may not be bustling with activities, but its untouched beauty and peaceful demeanor make it an ideal getaway for solitude seekers.

Charming beach in Mahé's north, known for its serene setting and picturesque views. Suitable for swimmers, particularly from November to July. Outside this period, swimming may pose risks. The pristine waters combined with white sands offer a captivating sight. Shade acts as a shield from the sun's rays.
